Hi can anyone throw me some suggestions on a instrumental to learn?
It's for a performance at school. I am already doing 'Always With Me, Always With You' by Joe Satriani. I just need another one.
Nothing with extremely fast runs and mega complex stuff please.
(That means no Stream Of Conciousness or Dance Of Eternity!)

Cheers guys.

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

P.P.S. If the song is about 2 to 3 minutes long that's even better.

Surfing with the alien is good.

Technical difficulties by Paul Gilbert is good too but the runs are pretty fast.

Steve Vai- For the Love of God
Pink Floyd- Marooned
Opeth- Epilogue

The only advantage of home-schooling is that it gives you good reason to commit suicide.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

Rylynn by Andy McKee.
The entire song is just one acoustic guitar. It's not hard if you have a decent capo.

Please do Willie the Pimp by Frank Zappa.

Or Celestial Terrestial Commuters by the Mahavishnu Orchestra.

Either way, I'm happy.

Unless he's going to bring an army of guitarists with him, Orion is out of the question.

I am passing on Orion. Though I could use a backing track (which is what I'm doing with Always with me always with you) I don't think it'll be really a good choice.

I thought about Die To Live and it's definately a possibility.
Love Thing also is a possibility.

Cheers guys and keep the suggestions coming

They aren't too bad, though.

"Ending Credits" by Opeth
"Respect The Wind" by Van Halen
"Ashes Of The Wake" by Lamb Of God

They might be pushing your time limit, but they are fun anyways, so enjoy.

Hm...

What effects do you have?

I'd go out of the regular suggestions like Vai and whatnot...

Try Buckethead.
