let me explain my problem:
i got amp turned on right now my guitar is plugged in to cable and cable goes to amp

if i take off the cable from my guitar only and leave it plugged in on the amp i have no hissing sound.

what could be the problem.?

It could be several things.
1. If your near your computer you will pick up electronic interference
2. If you have single-coil pickups its the 60 cycle hum
3. If you have humbuckers that are not sheilded or potted well
4. If you have dimmer lights in your room you will get hum
5. If you have or live near anyplace with excessive radio frequencies

All of these are caused by your guitar pickups. So basically if you want less hum you'll want to stay away from all the things I mentioned and if you do have a single coils get noiseless ones or humbuckers. These are the most common causes of buzzing from an amp.

Well, it says in his sig he's playing a JH-600, which means he has EMG's, not single coils. Try moving your amp to a different spot in the room, or like pinkzep52 said, away from any computers.

but how far away? i have my amp like on one side of the room and my computer on the other side of the room

If your near your computer you will pick up electronic interference

what causes eletronic interference? router,television?

and also how can it be interference? when i unplug cable from guitar the noise stops

If you have dimmer lights in your room you will get hum

i just use a lamp to light up the room

another thing i ignored the noise once and just started playing and sometimes the hum just went out by itself
