So I know what you're thinking. "There's a settings thread". Been there, done that. I don't think most of the eople there care about jazz tbh. So I'm wondering, are there are any good pedals, settings, etc for that "milky" smooth jazz tone? I play a gibson les paul studio through a peavey classic 30, so I know that I won't be able to make it sound identical to a nice hollowbody, but still..
semi-hollow guitar, tone knob rolled back a bit

EDIT: well, if ur workin with a les paul, neck pickup with the tone rolled back a bit. low mids...wish i could help more. my amps a bit of **** to know much about eq

just turn your tone knob down a little on your neck hum, you should be able to get a really nice round jazz tone.
Also, I find that if your going for a really smooth, mellow jazz tone, then using a pick when playing chords sounds much too harsh. Use your fingers. It sounds much nicer for jazz.
