Try googling gould guitars - it gives a couple hits. Seems to be one of your average run of the mill cheap copy guitars.

Judging from the string tree and the natural headstock, I'm guessing it's a Strat copy:

Also, as posted above, Gould are a brand turning out cheap copies of accomplished designs.


In the '60s & '70s someone used the name Gould for cheap Asian acoustics and there is also a Gould guitar company which makes handmade instruments, although I'm pretty confident it's a different company.

Careful, there's a difference between Gould (cheap knock-off axes) and Guild (pricey-hand made instruments)
