is it a good pedal for removing hum? cause i have a Gibson Les Paul Junior and it makes quite a bunch of hum in most spots where i play it unless i play it in a certain spot, but i want something to remove the hum completely. so is this a good pedal? any other good pedals?

mxr is fine
you can also try boss noise suppressor
I have a line 6 POD multi effect pedal which also has a good built in noise gate in case you wanna go multi

i use the mxr and boss noise pedals, the work even better together!!! , but the best out of the two for hum, the mxr takes only hum out , but the noise pedal takes out huge feedback!! well basically just cuts the noise
Why ME?!?!!

feedback is that screaching sound u heard when you arnt playing your guitar, and hum is the sound when u hold your strings and you hear buzzing from your amp.
