I've got a Stagg Flying V and the closest I've ever got to taking my guitar apart is replacing the strings. So anyway, I think it'd look nicer without the pickguard so I wanted to take it off. Can I do that? And how?

Thanks

a couple a problems, you'll have all your conrtol cavities showing and nothing to attach your controls to, you'll have all your screw holes showing, The pickup hole routings will probably be too big to put pickup surronuds over.
in short, no, not without great dificulty. Take a look at EVH's frankenstein guitar. there still needs to be a section of pickguard there for the controls. looks **** though!
