Hi, I wanna know whether anyone has any info on the Fender M-80 Head, I'll be recording in a studio with one in a few weeks, and I wanna know what music it's good for.. I've searched the fender site, and it's not there, cause I'm assuming they've discontinued the model.

thanks

Most Fenders are for blues and Classic rock(with gain, but not so much).

DON'T GET A MARSHALL MG OR A LINE 6 SPIDER.
Put this in your sig if you don't like the usual threads about these amps.

I figured as much, but I'm worried it could be like the FM series or the metalhead series, where it's not really meant for blues and rock n roll.. And is it a valva amp? or solid state?

It's solid state, two channels and it's more high gain then most Fender amplifiers excluding the Super-Sonic and the Metalhead and has no EQ on the drive channel. Some models have built in chorus.
