ok, i need a hand, i'm stuck between these two pedals and i really cant decide.

i play a varity of music, from stereophonics to muse to the enemy
so i need a wide range of tones!

please help and tell me from experiances!

also, do they both have the option of using a power supply?

Cheers

Jack.

YEah, I'd imagine they both can be powered with a power supply. I know the boss can and i assume the digitech one can.

As for which one you should get, what do you need it for? Because they're totally different pedals...

do you want distortion, or overdrive?

I say Bad Monkey. I have a DS-1, and maybe i havent gotten to fool around for hours on end with my amp and pedal, but all i can get out of it is a really nice crunchy tone. Nothing less than decent hard rock, so probably not that one.

You could get $1000 custom made pickups hand wired with Eric Johnsons pubic hair, and they'd still sound pretty bad through a ****ty solid state practice amp.
