Im looking for a good overdrive or distortion and like the demos of the jekyll-hyde pedal.

When i look for it on musiciansfriend it says discontinued.

Does this mean that no stores carry it anymore except for used?

Is this a great pedal?>?

My other choices are the boss blues driver or the MXR zakk Wylde overdrive.

I have a 212 valveking and looking for a little more power in the od channel.
I play from foo fighters to some heavy metal and some blues...

is this pedal worth the extra money over the other 2 pedals?

Well, if he's only "looking for a little more power in the od channel", he doesn't need the distortion, and might as well get a TS-808 or a different clone.

Take a look, lots of other cool drives from the J&H makers, including TS-808 clone single pedal

anyone have any experience that says the jackyll and hyde is a worthwhile upgrade from an os-2. im going tomorrow to try out those pedals....

^If you don't need the distortion. try the Visual SOund Route 66. Same OD as the JH but a good compressor instead of the dist.

I was actually trying to decide between the Jekyll and Hyde and OS-2 as well and ended up going for the J&H. It's a very versatile pedal, though I find myself not using the distortion side that often, so I'm looking to sell it. My thread is here.

Also, check out these videos on the J&H:
