Me and my Blues band are going to play my schools talent show. Which out of this list should we play?

- I shot the Sheriff

- Scuttle Buttin'

- I don't need no doctor

- Texas Flood

- Johnny B. Goode

or if you could suggest a diff. one that would be great!

Johnny B. Goode. I'm sure lots of people have heard it before so thats a plus.

I really like Stone Crazy by Buddy Guy, it's my favorite blues song.

Play whatever song you guys play best.

I would say Johnny B. Goode is the most well known of those songs. You might also want to try I'm Ready or Hoochie Coochie Man.

Texas Flood or Johnny B. Goode. Johnny B. Goode might be better as more people will know it and it's so popular.

Out of those I would have to go I Shot the Sheriff.

I would also reccomend Key To The Highway or Stormy Monday. Crossroads is always good too if you want something faster.

i believe he's in a blues band. not some jam band that plays covers of obscure live phish songs. wait.... unless phish didn't write that. that just occured to me.

How about not playing Johnny B Goode since every band of geriatrics and their moms have covered it? Sneakin Sally isn't a Phish song, its bluesy, and its badass, I don't see why you're so against that? And if I'm not mistaken, he's looking for covers. I'm sorry if I find it boring to play the most generic overplayed songs in the history of music.

oh well srry the thought that phish might not have written the song struck me when i was like half way done w/ the message. I've only heard it on their Colorado '88 disk though. but w/e. and i just think Johnny B. Goode is a fun song that is really great to listen to if u can pull off the solos and whatnot. i just think he should do an upbeat fun song.
