In my vocational class, we're starting these projects that involve stop-motion animation (think claymation and Robot Chicken styles). I need to do two videos altogether. Any suggestions for cool stuff to try and do for these projects? Preferably from people who have some basic video knowledge.

I don't have much video knowledge other than making home videos. Like, I don't know the technicalities of it.

I would say just do something ordinary. Actually, everything looks cool in stop motion.

I used to do heaps of stop motion stuff with Lego and gear.
If you're using clay a cool thing is melting someone sort of thing.
But yeah, its whatever you want.
Just make sure **** is on and taking the pictures so you don't wreck crap and not have footage.

Clay is a possibility, but I don't think I'm going to use it. Too many people in the class are thinking about it.

Ordinary video I'm sure would look cool, being stop-motion, but the biggest aspect of stop-motion is to do things that aren't possible with reg.-motion video.

Jimi Hendrix playing an awesome solo on electric guitar and then he smashes the guitar and sets it on fire.
Do it with clay.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

if your not good with clay, buy an artist's manikin and just put clay over it. or buy an action figure and use that.

a rock concert, and you can record yourself playing and dub it over the animation
