A new song I wrote.- Battle Poetry

There was a young warrior
And his faith lay upon the road
He would walk day and night
He never found his way back home

He wrote battle poetry
Pouring out his heart and soul
At Starkad a great beast rose up
His tongue a serpent and his eyes aflame

Paper to pen… never again

Wrapped in shadows I couldn’t bleed
And wrapped in sorrow, he couldn’t breath
At Starkad a great beast rose up
His tongue a serpent and his eyes aflame

And on his way to Lightforge
Seven clad in ice came down
One wore a fiery crown, I threw my life down at his feet
Then I wrote this song

Behold the Firestone mill!
At Starkad a great beast rose up
His tongue a serpent and his eyes aflame

This could be heaven or this could be hell
Don’t you hear the crows call?

He wrote battle poetry
Pouring out his heart and soul
At Starkad a great beast rose up
His tongue a serpent and his eyes aflame

Paper to pen… never again
Raise your chalice my brother
Raise it high
To catch the fire that falls from the sky
