when i turn my peavey 6505 combo loud i get alot of feedback. is there anything i can do to get rid of the feedback. such as a pedal which reduces feedback?

Peavey 5150 combo

no that happens...one because the 6505 has way to much gain...and you probably dont have a gate...

i don't have a noise gate. are there any u can recommend? does it get rid of that annoying high pitched squeal when i turn my amp up loud?
