I'm looking to buy a good 50 watt Marshall lead series amp. Obviously, they don't sell a lot of them any more, so I don't know how much money I need. How much could I expect to get an amp for? I saw a combo in great condition just go on ebay go for $630 US. Another head is in horrible condition and is at $400. Can anyone maybe give me an average minimum/ maximum these go for?

Do you want the single channel, the dual channel, the higher gain one? etc.

I would pay $700~$750 for clean, and <$550 for dirty ones.

single channel one that is.

I'd prefer a dual channel one. What's the price difference between a dual channel and a single clean?

whats the difference? and whats the difference between jcm900, jcm800, or jcm2000?

anyways, to keep on topic. I would give about 600 for one in O.K. condition.

single channel one isn't clean. if you turn it up, you get gain, but you can turn down your volume control to get decent cleans.

i'd pay less for a dual channel one, but i think people should pay more for a dual channel. i think single channel is 'classy' in a way.
