Try the ESP Viper Series since you like SG body styles.

I've never really played an ESP/LTD what are there fret boards like? i HATE fat "C" shaped necks. i should have put that in the first post

Edit, Nor do i want too skinny of a neck, i'm used to my neck right now which is right in the middle

That was what i was going to say. in LTD, Vipers 400 with EMG 81, 85. the 400 is around 899$ or you can go with the Viper 1000 but idk the price (over 1000 for sure) Then you can go with ESP which are better since they are made one by one instead of being built in shops but the price is way higher since you have more quality. And they are around 2000. Im not sure about all prices but The 400 i know its 899 since its the one I want.

but will the tone be any/much better with an esp?
like is it higher grade hardware and wood, or just better crafting?

So I guess I'll be the first to inform you that the Viper 400 is only $600.

And the Viper series seems like a good choice for you ts.

actually, i think i'm leaning more to the EC 1000.
what are the tonal specs of each of these guitars, i want more of a low end deep Low and Mid sound opposed to high treble.

also one reason i would rather the ec over the viper is the colour choice because i'm not very big on trans. black or red.
