Allright. I've been looking at guitars for awile, and I've gotta choose soon. The things I neeedd,

-Good Punk/pop punk rock tone, but it wouldn't hurt if it could be versatile enough to handle hard rock/metal too.

-Has too look nice too of course lool.

-Good action

-Not too heavy, a light guitar would be nice.

-it has to be under 300$-320$

My fav is the Ibanez, i think its the best too. But i also think youd be better of investing in a better amp. but thats just my opinion

The dot wont handle high gain, the ibanez is good for metal but im not too sure about punk. If your gunna get an Epi Sg, get the g-310 or g400. oh.... and i have no clue about the agile, except that it looks good

the Dot wont handle gain well

the ibanez looks nice and has some nice things but is heavy

the sg probrably sucks because of the price

the agile might come with wiring problems or just poor quality parts especially since they make it look expensive but charge so little

i guess you should get an amp or maybe the ibanez just cuz it's the best one you picked

Well if I were you I would buy a new amp, perhaps this model.
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Vox-Valvetronix-AD30VT-30w-1x10-Guitar-Combo-Amp-102640802-i1145735.gc

or this

I would keep the squier because I know that that is a pretty good guitar, If you were to mod it it could handle punk pretty well.

But, if you decide to get the guitar either get the rg2ex1 or try the rg321 both are pretty good.

You should get the hello kittie fender... its a sick guitar!!!

lmao wow...

http://www.buzzillions.com/prd-79450-brownsville-is700-electric-guitar-trans-blue-reviews/

it may not be one of the more popular brands, but its part of my guitar collection, and it plays like any popular guitar like it would. its pretty light, the actions great, has 2 humbuckers at the bridge/neck, a single in the middle, great tone, and a floyd rose. it also shows user reviews at the same link - most/all of them are positive. and its only like 180 or somethin like that.

haha helloo kitty guitar pwnss.
But I'm not planning on getting that XDD

I'm also not really worried about the amp, I don't use mine much anymore anywayy. I spend most of my playing time over at a friends place and I play on his halfstack. lool. -hobo-
And I plan on getting a new one later on in the year anyway hah.

as for the guitar, I'm not rushing. been looking into it for awile. I'm just picky hah.
but I do like the ibanez alot, but I also like the Dot because it, from what I've heard, has a Tom Delonge kinda sound to it. -shrugg- I play alot of Blinkk.
but I'd also like something for a bit heavier sound cause I like to playy system of a down and shtuff every now and then 8D

But thanks for the help so far =]

Squier '51 is probably better than all of them if you get a better amp

Upgrade your amp first

lool -points to above posts-
I'll be getting one soon (birthday is not too long after, hehehe)
and like I said, I do most of my serious playing at a friends place with his amp since he doesn't play much guitar. (bass player)

well IMO none of those guitars are really an upgrade, i say pitch in about $50 of your own money and get an Ibanez SA120
