Hey,

Im looking to replace the pickups on m Carvin DC135 (H/S/S) - it has a floyd rose, mahogany bocy, maple neck with 2 mahogany strips and an ebony fretboard.

I play mostly instrumental rock (Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, Zaza), some metal (but i mainly use my les paul for that) and some jazz fusion (Alan Holdsworth, Shawn Lane etc)

Can anyone reccommend me some DiMarzio Pickups? (I want the hum-cancelling single coild in the neck and mid so i chose dimarzio)

So far i've been looking at the Breed in the Bridge and possibly the Chopper in the neck?

What do you think?

I've got a Breed in my Ibanez S classic, and previously in my RG, and love it... will suit all the styles you've listed. It's a high output pickup, but not overly so, and still has a nice natural sound to it

I'd go Evos for the humbuckers, actually. They're about as versatile as you can get, especially as you're playing lead-orientated music.

Yeah i'll take a look at the Evos.... anyone know about the single coils (hum cancelling)?
