tried searching but apparently its disabled!

anyway im looking at the peavey valveking and it seems to suit my style i have yet to test it out at the shop but my question, is there any difference between 112 and 212 other than its extra speaker? it will only be used for bedroom playing/jammig with friends. anyone got one whats your opinion?

If it's only for jamming and bedroom playing, you'd really have no need for the second speaker so it's better to save money and get the 112. What kind of music do you play?

The 1x12 is 50w, the 2x12 is 100w. A 100w 2x12 is really huge in size and volume, a 50w 1x12 would suit you fine with a lot of headroom even if you did play metal.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

^^ You know, I had forgotten that the 212 was 100 watts. And that it even existed...

^ It could do that, but I think that for metal the Randall RG50TC would be better personally. More expensive than the VK112, but does metal a lot better. It also has good cleans and can do some more rock-like distortion.

the valve king won't give you the bodom distortion, but no worry, throw in a metal muff pedal in front of it, and you are going to be blown away by its power

on the description for the randall it says "8/16 ohm external speaker outs" does this mean it can be hooked up to a cab if it needs to be
