what are some of the songs that you guys think bring you the most powerful emotional feelings?

some of them for me are

the world i know- collective soul
the saddest song(acoustic)- the ataris(i can really relate to this song)
lightning crashes- live(ed is a very powerful, emotional songwrtier)
slow dancing in a burning room- john mayer
glycerine- bush
i am the highway- audioslave(i had to pick one chris cornell song, he has an amazing voice)
let the drummer kick- citizen cope(i dont know why, this song just moved me in coach carter and in accepted)
changes- tupac(this is probably the greatest rap song ever)
new american classic- taking back sunday(emo is short for emotional, this is why)
badfish- sublime(this song actually has an almost happy tone, but if you actually lsiten to it, its a pretty strong song about drug addiction)
dont drag me down- social d(this song is really emotional for me, im not quite sure why)
angels wings- social d(this song is probably the most emotion you can put into a punk song. this is a beautiful song)
black napkins- frank zappa(this is as emotional as any song on this list, and zappa didnt even use words )
your guardian angel- red jumpsuit apparatus(the songwriting could be better, but this song reminds me of when a girl i knew was in a major car accident)
hey- red hot chili peppers(this is a brilliant song. great songwriting)
pretty little ditty- rhcp(this is beautiful, again. its great.)
come as you are- nirvana(this is the songwriting genius of kurt cobain)

One time I had this chick setting on my lap, sucking on my neck, unbuttoning my pants when one of my friends walked in and ruined the whole thing. To be fair though, she was his girlfriend.

Shoopin' that whoop since before you were born, son.

You probably listen to major label bull**** anyway. What Avail have you heard that would qualify you to pass such judgement?

Anyone who's ever seen Avail perform will know that they're extremely genuine and emotional.

Deliriumbassist, thanks, but I can demolish him on my own.

Hip-hop isn't the only major label music, buddy. Metallica, Pantera, AC/DC, all your "rock heroes" are more or less sellouts. Not that I don't like those bands, but it's kinda hard to put emotion in your music when your first priority is making money.

^^Oh, your list reminded me. The Odyssey by Symphony X is really great. I love the part at the end where he sings about returning to Ithaca.

Great list by the way.

Ya man, absolutely epic track. I went through the whole Odyssey album a few days ago having a nice jog on the ole tread mill. When it finally reached the last part of the Odyssey, already worn out, I thought "**** yes." It's a great motivator
