Is it worth investing in a whole bunch of planet waves cables for my rig, or should I get another pedal (Line6 DL4) and then get the cables over a period of time? At the moment I am using mediocre long cables and crappy $3 patch cables.

What I need is four 15ft cables (amp > pedals, pedals > amp, fx loop send, fx loop return) and a 5ft speaker cable (amp > cab).

Also, for patch cables, I will probably get a pack of 6 Hosa cables. Either these:

OMG, dont buy anything from Line6
all you get is an over processed, digitized sound.
the DL4 is okay but if you need cables (from the info you gave us... you definetely do!)
get some good cables first, then get the pedal.

Yeah at the moment I'm leaning more towards getting all the cables. Also, I get $50 off when I buy them because I got a $50 voucher from the local music store because I did work experience with them for a week
