Those are words spoken by Oprah Winfrey at a recent Press Conference she held for Mr. Obama.
Now, I like to think that I'm not a racist, but seriously, Oprah will jump on any bandwagon that is headed/supporting a black person, and in some cases, a woman.
I respect them both, but I seriously think she is only supporting him because he's black.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

A "tubescreamer" is a person paid by a guitarist to stand behind the amp and scream at the tubes. This terrifies the tubes into overdriving and delivers a thick, harmonic-rich tone.

You're not the only one who feels this way.

There are many other stupid people who link everything to racial favoritism.

I think Obama and Hillary are both getting way too much attention for the wrong reasons, race and gender, that sort of thing. Nobody really pays attention to the politics anymore, and it's like the election has turned into American Idol. We also tend to completely block out everybody else, like Dennis Kucinich (More famous for trying to impeach Cheney than for running for president) or even Ron Paul, even though he is big on the internet.
Still, the presidents seem to be getting worse as more and more useless media coverage is introduced.
So good to see you once again.
I thought that you were hiding.
And you thought that I had run away.

Obama is by far the strongest candidate. He has great policies, and he can win an election. The only democrat I like more than Obama is Kucinich, and we all know he doesn't have a chance in hell.

Also, out of the three, I prefer Obama even though it doesn't matter.

She only supports him because he is black. Therefore Oprah is racist.

Oprah is a capitalist and used that capitalist system for her benefit. Obama is a pseudo socialist and would take away the systems Oprah used to market herself to become the financial success she is today.

About who even it was who said the thing about me giving no examples, I'm looking now.
The only one I could think of was when she was talking about the Jena 6. Lets just say, it wasn't a very fair episode.
EDIT: I just came across the episode about OJ Simpson. Guess I was wrong.
EDIT2: I still don't like how she's trying to 'market' him.

RON PAUL > obama.

they're both good, but paul beats all the other candidates, IMO. not that he doesn't have some flaws, but he knows what he's doing...all the others aren't even paying attention

What the hell did Hillary do? Did I miss something?

Every person I come across hates her for some reason, but when I ask why they all say something idiotic like "She is a socialist, which is really just a communist in disguise!"

I hate it when people don't know why they are saying what they are saying. People made Hillary ball-buster jokes, and it is cool to hate her...

I'm not saying I support her/like her or dislike her or anything. But what the hell? Can someone explain?

I agree with you 100%. In my opinion the movie Deep Impact where life as we know it ends- there is a Black president. Sure the world ends from a natural disaster, but I firmly believe that a Black president would bring the USA to its end. The country would be way to chaotically torn from the inside- pretty much the entire bible belt and southern states would lose it, I could see a civil war happening again- plus alot of countries would take advantage of it and increase chances of more terror attacks or even a military attack.

Civil war?

It ain't militias and minute men no more, buddy. We could quell any 'rebellion' that may occur. Which it wouldn't.

You don't know much about your American History do you.....have you seen the majority of the American armed forces? These so called "Quellers" of a rebellion? They are mostly made up of Miltarist/Nationalistic White Americans. Have you been to Texas? Arkansas? Alabama? Louisiana? Virginia? I have..and I was amazed at the amount of open racism to blacks. I am against racism, but you have to be a blind fool if you think America would socially accept a black president.

edit- I mean think for a second there "buddy"..why do you think Hillary has such a good chance of winning the election in 08? Because she is the primary democratic candidate, the other being a black man...Hillary vs a white guy with good credibility from the Democratic party- she would have no chance.

Quite the opposite, he doesn't know what he's doing. His ideas are a one way ticket to more of what people complain about: corporate domineering.

I like Edwards and Huckabee, except for when Huckabee and the Republicans spat in that gay general's face. Huckabee won't win though.

Romney just gave an awsome speech about that... I wish I could find it.

I agree with lots of ya

But in all honesty, and I say this out of no racist views what so ever, I SERIOUSLY doubt Obama will make it into office
1. Hes black, racism is way too strong in the south still, and a good chunk of the US population lives in the racist south.
2. His name sounds strangely similar to Osama.

Hillary... well, put it this way, I'm moving to Canada if that witch makes it into office. Our country will go to a hellhole if she makes it too office, I seriously doubt any world leaders will take her seriously, her being a woman and all (and I am not sexist.)

EDIT: Changed some of my facts because im not 100% sure on their "correctness"
