Together, we're gonna stick it to my parents.

They absolutely refuse to get me an Epiphone Les Paul. say they dont wanna spend 600 bucks on it because i dont play in moderation. They also dont wanna take the other option and give me 600 to buy a used Marshall DSL401.

Nevermind that i have straight A's.

So instead, i think im gonna ask for a bunch of pedals-the good ****. Boutique. The well respected pedals for tone and for quality. and then ill just buy the amp or guitar on my own.

So when you suggest me stuff, keep in mind that i will be playing a DSL401. my band is very classic rock influenced, playing a lot of Zeppelin type stuff with a modern edge.

I would like (TRUE BYPASS PLEASE)
an OCD for the hell of it cause i know its great.
a chorus pedal
a wah pedal (preferably a versatile one)
hell suggest anything else you think i should get too.

i probably wont get all this stuff but its pretty much hit or miss with these things. so ill get some of it. im really big on the wah and OCD

PS Im not jsut asking for the boutique stuff to spend money. Im just saying that since im not asking for the big priced amp, ill ask for a bunch of little thing.

Thanks much guys.

i agree on the 535Q, i dont know enough to say anything regarding the EHX small clone, but considering your amp setup, im not sure how "amazing" an OCD is gonna be. if you had a tube amp id say yes, but im not sure with the MG.

OCD
Gig-FX Mega Wah or RMC Picture Wah.
Visual Sound H2O chorus. Comes with Reverb i think.
And maybe a Boss Super-Shifer for harmonies and pitch-shifting. Or maybe a Whammy for the same stuff.

If you're really after like amazing pedals, don't get the EHX small clone.

It's good, but it could never hold it's own against boutique choruses.
