I'm getting a Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde Pedal soon, is there any difference in sound quality if I don't use a 1 spot adapter? I heard somewhere that there is but my memory isn't so good so any help would be appreciated cheers

The sound quality should stay the same whether you're using batteries or a power supply. A power supply is usually the best choice anyways. Most pedals start to sound like crap when the battery gets low.

Vintage '66 Fender Champ Amp
Dunlop Crybaby 535Q
Jekyll & Hyde Ultimate Overdrive

I haven't gotten an adapter yet, I know cheaper adapters work with like boss pedals, but I read somewhere that visual sound pedals require negative center polarity 9v adapters? or something like that. Would a danelectro (I'm just referencing it because it's the cheapest) adapter still work well? Has anyone had experience using a VS pedal with a different power supply versus a 1 spot?
