i have a test tommoorow and i dont know how to do anything can anyone show me how to simplyfy this radical. cubed root of -6750. thanx.

-6750 is divisible by 27, and 27 is 3^3

there might be more to it, let me think about it

Nah since its the cubed root and not the square root, it can be negative. Like someone else up there said, pull a 27 out.

okay, cube of -6750 = (cube of 27)(cube of -250) = (3)(5)(cube of -2)

take 27 out you get: -6750/27= -250.

from there you can take out -125 which is (-5)^3, but need to multiply that by 2, so to get a thing that's in cubes, you need the cube root of 2.

so -6760 = (3 x -5 x cube root of 2)^3.

Ok i have one last problem on this sheet. is there like a formula for this? Find the sum of the whole numbers 1 through 300 that arent multiples of 5 or 6.
