Way, way too complicated for a beginner!

I think he means he wants to actually learn to play some acoustic fingerpicking songs.

How long have you played?

To Zanarkand - Nobuo Uematsu

Have you got a really nice tab for that? I've got one but it's missing something.

White Stripes' "We're going to be Friends" is a great one to learn.

Although I actually like Jack Johnson's version better.

hahaha. i didnt know he was a beginner, so i just blurted out the songs i love

i've played guitar for less than a year. 3 months in i already learned how to play blackbird. it was a really fun song. i played it until i got really bad blisters on my strumming hand fingers(and i still kept playing it), hehe.

im personally going to attempt Dependant Arising by Andy McKee whenever i can buy the tabs or find a tutorial of how to play it.

House of the Rising Sun- The Animals, it got me into fingerpicking

The Intro to Diary of a Madman by Ozzy is also really cool and pretty easy.

Also check out Dee by Randy Rhoads, it's a pretty complex classical piece for someone who has only played for a year but it sounds really cool

Rush - Closer to the Heart
Beatles - Blackbird (yeah, someone already said it, but such a fun tune )
Mama I'm Comin' Home - Ozzy
The Rain Song - Led Zepplien
Classical Gas - Mason Williams version (a little tough for a beginner, but stick with it and you'll get it!)
The Boxer, Homeward Bound - Simon & Garfunkel
Goodbye Blue Sky - Pink Floyd

Actually if you watch any Led Zepplien concerts (I HIGHLY suggest The Song Remains the Same DVD), Jimmy Paige fingerpicks a lot of the songs he plays.
