you know it's the season to be jolly? well i feel miserable, and i have been for a couple of weeks. But i have one non-personal reson why: Christmas songs being played in almost every store! it's bad enough being subjected to someone elses music without it being sickeningly happy and really, really, really spectacularly awful in the first place! if i hear whatever song that goes "sim-ply ha-ving a wonderful chirstmas time" is, I'll probably go insane!
is that just me, or do other people agree with me here?

Tell me about it lol...i work part time in a supermarket and they've been playing Christmas music since the end of November. If i hear "All i Want For Christmas" is You one more time, i think i'm going to get violent .
#4
i agree. after 25, maybe even 30 or more days of Christmas songs non-stop, it really does wear on u alot.
#5
the only thing i hate about it is every damn tv commerical has a stupid parody of christmas song
Roses are red
Voilets are blue
The only bulge in my pocket is my wallet
No i'm not happy to see you

Scrooges!

I adore Christmas in all its commercialised, un-religious, selfish self. I'd assume the majority of people enjoy it, so don't bring us down

I actually like it a lot. I enjoy seeing how many different versions of Carol of the Bells I can find in one month

Plus, go into Barnes & Noble and they play A Charlie Brown Christmas! It's so good

Well then you're probably not be in a school christmas concert, 20 xmas songs, rehearsed over and over, for MONTHS. Worst part is, these same songs follow you wherever you go, on the radio on the way home, on the radio at home, in shops.. ARGH...
But I'm enjoying christams much more this year, despite the songs.

I actually love most Christmas Songs.
O Come O Come Emmanuel is one of my favorite all time songs.

But there is one Christmas song called "The Christmas Shoes" its a big sack of cheesy, sappy. crap. Its so bad they could make a Hallmark movie out of it. Oh Wait.....
#15
I haven't heard a single christmas song...
ok maybe one or two but not enough to get me violent...but i enjoy playing a heavy metal version of jingle bells on my guitar, it sounds awesome (compared to the versions you hear at the mall, at least)

I love that about christmas, it's so commercialised now, it's like a big **** off to christians who think they started the holiday.

I work in a supermarket and even though it's the same Xmas songs over and over I find it quite cheery.

Well considering I am rarely ever in stores I am not subjected to spectacularly awful Christmas songs. I don't really mind Christmas, even though I admit the music can get annoying sometimes.

However, A Charlie Brown Christmas is an absolutely wonderful album

It's true. They start all that waaaaaaaaay to early.
On the up side, I do most all of my shopping online and thus avoid that(and the getting barged and trampled by fat people).

I like christmas songs, but then again, I listen to stuff by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
It makes me feel all happy to hear the sound of guitars at christmas.

If only the store manager at Tesco had the same music taste as you my dear. Listening to the same beep all day drives me nuts.

^yeah, at my old job they played music once in a while. I work seasonal so it's only in the summer, but once in a while they'd turn on this great classic rock station. It's KQRS, you can listen to it online. the strange thing is that I worked at a golf course and those are supposed to be quiet.

I haven't been to many shopping centres, so Christmas music in my world has been at a minimum. But I went into a mall the other day to get some new headphones, and it's a very grotty, cheapo one and they've put up this makeshift tunnel with fairy lights everywhere, flashing lights and as many electronic toys singing Christmas songs as you can imagine on the floor. Just, urgh.
