One of my favourite parts of games tends to be the music. There are some which stick in your mind because they're just great, and others because of parts of the game they're associated with. Share some of your favourites, preferably finding a MIDI file or some sort of link to the music too.

Some of my favourites:

Music from the final boss battle from Double Dragon II on the NES

Battle music from Final Fantasy IX on the Playstation

General game music from Faxanadu, on the NES

All of the music from the Medievil games (Playstation and PSP) but this is one of the few clips I could find.

If you are rowing down the road in your canoe and your wagon wheel falls off. How many pancakes does it take to make a doghouse?

Green, because a vest has no sleeves.

Can't we all just get a bong?

The kick-ass guitar in the Halo 2 soundtrack (some guy told me Steve Vai did it )

The boss music from FFVII was pretty sweet.

Steve Vai did do a song for the Halo 2 soundtrack.

EDIT: I liked the MIDIs in Doom.

That's true. Steve Vai recorded the guitar parts for the Halo Mjolnir Mix. I really love Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori's score from Halo. Kingdom Hearts and Age of Mythology have great soundtracks, too. I've also taken the time to learn One Winged Angel and the Super Mario Bros theme on the piano.
