I was. I absolutely loved it. Classes weren't that bad, people were great, I got to play guitar every day through my Mark IV that I've finally managed to figure out to my satisfaction, and our mock trial team did well this season. Anyone else go to a scarey new place?

I was, but I had to drop out because my schedule got owned.

I registered for a fiction reading class, and the book we were reading was sold out, so I couldn't get a copy. The teacher gave pop-quizzes every class, and kept telling me I'm slacking, even though I kept telling her I was waiting for the book in the mail ffs.

So anyway, I got into that class because my English grades was mad good on the placement testing, and otherwise I would've had to take English 30 first, but nope, rather than waiting for me to get the book and catch up, she kicks me out saying I don't meet the pre-requisites, so my tuition price increased because I was no longer a full-time student and I had to drop out!

^^ Ouch. I got to take a "pop culture" english class. My second paper argued that Law and Order: SVU was a more emotionally appealing show than the original; one of the funnest papers I ever wrote.

i was a freshman. classes were good, met new people, even got some jamming buddies that may become a band in the future

Did you check online for the book? I've had better luck with Amazon than with my school's bookstore and everything is cheaper as well.
edit: I just noticed the mail bit, that sucks

I'm in that position too. I started smoking pot and drinking, met a bunch of people, made out with multiple girls while drunk at parties(both myself and them), started a band.

Oh and I went to classes occasionally. My grades aren't quite up to par with what they could be.

Goals for next semester: get better grades(i'm taking 4 classes instead of 5), actually play a gig with my band, drink and smoke more, lose my virginity, girlfriend?, it should be good.
