I'm torn between getting an Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexer (sound demo below):

and getting a BYOC Armstrong Twin kit (sick video below)

The Octave multiplexer doubles your sound one octave down, the Armstrong Twin doubles it one octave up. The Twin also has a compressor in it that can be used with or without the octave.

What would you guys pick?

Octave up can get really trebly on the higher strings.
