Was looking at the Schecter C-1 Artist, but I want to know if there's something a bit cheaper.

Are there any good non-AL Agiles? I'm not too fond of the Les Paul style.

Hm, maybe an Epiphone G-400, not a Les Paul, Set-neck, and it's about $400. Or you could get the Iommi Signature which is also an SG, but it goes for $500

Dude, just get a bolt-on. You'll usually get alot better components and overall
build quality for a good price. Also, the sustain thing is almost completely a myth/scam.

Personally, I prefer the sound of bolt-on guitars.

Open your mind up a little....good things will happen.

Well, I mean I have a bolt-on Dean V right now. In fact, the reason I want a new axe is because the Dean is falling apart (not because of the neck joint, mind you). But there's a huge heel.

So, I guess I don't mind bolt-ons as long as they have decent access. I need those higher frets.

Also, I really like V-shapes (again I feel like there's nothing blocking upper fret access). So, any good cheap V's with decent neck joints?

How's the Jackson KVX10?

I... had not. These guitars look really nice for the value. $500 smackeroos for set neck, Duncans, and 24 frets and all?

And it's a Fender?

Coooool.

Ibanez SZ series

I have one (ibanez sz320), and i absolutely love it, if it's any consolation.

And it's less than $450, so it fits your budget as well.

Well I've heard nothing but praise for the S series, and they're set-necks?

How's the joint? Good access?

actually the regular G-400's (or the faded ones) are $300.
