My vote goes for the Weeping Demon. That's the best wah I've played. And about the pickups, the EMG's may be good for RAM, but for Zep they'll sound like crap, and it'll be 100 % impossible to get a RHCP tone.
- Fender American Standard Ash Telecaster w/ DiMarzio Chopper T & Twang King
- Alhambra 5P
- Laney Lionheart L5T-112
- Line 6 POD XT
- Suhr Shiba Drive
- MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay
- Dunlop Cry Baby

out of those two id have to go with the weeping demon even though i havent played it. i have played the CFH and it is wayyyy to heavy sounding for what you want to play

Not to be picky, but Arm the Homeless is a strat, not a Les Paul. That's a hell of a different guitar, and all his tone comes from his amp, not a couple of EMGs, especially as he only ever uses the neck pickup in it (85).

Hah! I have the Crybaby and the other guitarist in my band has the Weeping demon. The weeping demon is alot more pronouced. It's like HOLY ****ING WAH! Whereas the Crybaby isn't as upfront, but can be. I'd go for the Crybaby in your case, sounds good for all the styles I've played and the Weeping Demon is Fugly.

Why not make your tele do the Morello sound and the Les Paul, un-EMG'd, do everything else? It would make much more sense.

not to be rude or anything but i really doubt that was a CFH he used on SA. His effects board is about 15 feet long so im willing to bet that it was a combination of about 5 differnt effects, his amp and his fingers that got that tone

because all three bands use a stock fender telecaster in them some where

morello uses a stock tele in drop d
frusciante used one on californication + i can get a nice clean sound from it to do other covers
and page used one on albums 1-4

Well... exactly! You just need to use the tele. The Les Paul will come in handy otherwise; don't bother EMGing it, that'll just be a waste for your use.

I'm saying don't get EMG's because they're not suited for the music you play.
For a wah out of those two I'd personally say weeping demon because I personally prefer it to the CFH. But I think a Vox wah would suit you better.

Its way overkill to use EMGs play zeppelin. I have a set in a guitar and rarely ever play it. They are just to much except for really high gain stuff. Wish I had never wasted the money on them.

Neither of those wahs will do clean tones that well... I mean, my CFH will do clean/lower gain wah stuff decently but the problem is you have to set all the controls completely differently for clean and dirty sounds.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?
