Anyone listen to Caribou?

Last week I found one of their (his?) albums, Andorra, and it just hit me soo hard. I literally cant stop listening to it.

But anyway, I searched, and there werent any caribou threads really, so I figured id start one. Theyre just too good not to have one.

Heres some links for those who arent familiar:

Andorra is a great album. i believe that starsnostars did a AOTM a while back on it, so i figure most alt/indie regulars have at least given them a listen.

I actually haven't listened to much Caribou. I've only heard a couple songs. But "Yeti" used to get a lot of airplay on Left Of Center back in 2005, and I really liked it. I'm pretty sure I downloaded it.

His newest album is alot more traditional in the sense that it has vocals and takes the form of a chorus/verse song, which his earlier electronica did not.

Actually there's literally JUST as much of a point to go out of your way to say something sucks as there is to say something is awesome.

Not to mention you say his opinion "sucks balls" but them tell him not to go out of his way to say stuff sucks. It's amazing how much hypocrisy you've displayed in so few sentences. And yes, I know that's a few years old, but still.

Anyway, Andorra was okay, got boring after a while, but I did listen to it a ridiculous number of times, so it was inevitably going to happen regardless of how good it was.

Bump

It's sunny and Melody Day is sounding incredible right about now

Anyone got the Caribou Vibration Ensemble live album? Seems great from what I've heard so far
