I think we can all agree the those hand things that drop from the ceilings were the scariest bad guys in any game.EVER!!!!
What about the ReDeads?

Just walking through a dungeon, minding your own ****ing business, and suddenly... "AAAAGGHHHH! I'M BEING HUMPED BY A ZOMBIEOHGODTHEHORROR!"

The forest temple, for some reason, scared me so much when I was 8.

It was those mother****ing wallmasters. You know, the things that came down and just killed you by dragging you up and eating you or something like that. If I had a fear when I was a little kid, it was that wallmasters would come and eat me.

Man, I should be at the get ths off your chest thread.

The entrance to the temple scared me more than the temple itself.

If was those pig-men things (Moblins, or something like that?) that you had to navigate through through that maze, and they would make that really scary noise and gore you.

That really scared me, too.

Probably...hm...

The boss from the Water Temple in OoT was hard...

Honestly, I don't remember much of that game.

I finished some of TP, but I haven't played it in a while. I'll play it more in the summer...

The "Hey! Listen!" bit from Navi is my ringtone.

Anyway, am I the only one who thinks the water temple from OoT is cake? Everybody talks about how hard it is, but the Shadow Temple was the hardest for me.

I remember me and my friend (age 9 or 10) beat the shadow temple in like less than one afternoon
The water temple took me like nearly a year to beat it, on and off playing.

You spent an entire afternoon on one temple? Damn, I feel lke a nerd - I can go through A Link to the Past a few hours.

Oh right...Shadow Ganondorf.

That took me forever. You basically had to rely on luck to beat him, which was really stupid, IMO.

And the Water Temple was definitely the hardest temple in any Zelda game, hands down.

The water temple is easy, as long as you know where to go. Its just hard to bend your mind around it at times.

And my TP disc is scratched

Volvagia in the Fire Temple... it took me like 50 tries on the 3 heart challenge...
But on the other hand I thought the water temple boss was really easy...

But the best battle is Arbiter's Grounds in TP, on the spinner.

Well the funniest I think was in MM in the second temple where you have to chase the bull in goron form. Grand ol' time.

As for the hardest......Phantom Ganon in the forest temple. I don't know why I just found him rip your hair out hard.

Oot or TP Water Temple? It takes me forever to do TPs Lakebed Temple.
#56
does the game do anything awesome if you beat it doing the three heart challenge or is it just personal jollies?
Help Out A Dentist; Play Rugby

I hated MM, in general. I just thought the fact that you had to always keep track of the time was really dumb. Also, that game really scared me. A lot.

Sure, it had its moments, but for the most part, I didn't like it.

Well I think that game was supposed to be darker which is why I like it so much. But ya in the canyon with the ReDeads walking around the house. Give me a few chills.

Like I said before, I haven't played that game in a while.

i agree. you really had to get lucky with the ball of light, and hope it wasnt going extemly fast while you're point blank

last time i played OoT the water temple wasnt TOO bad. If you memorize what switch brings the water to what level and what not, its actually pretty easy. its still tedious, but at least you arent completely lost.
#63
Ok, so who got suckered into buying the Giants knife?

1st time I played through the game I had borrowed it from a friend and he told me about the biggoron sword, but 2nd time thru (bought it myself it was so awesome) I bought the giants knife to see what it was like and the effin thing broke! just reloaded my save tho.

Downloaded the ROM and emulator yesterday so I don't have to dig out the N64 to play anymore (legal if I own it )

That part was OK.

It was where he came out of the painting. I could never situate myself to see which one he was coming out of, and by the time I did, it was too late.

Maybe i'm not remembering it right, but with phantom gannon don't you just shoot him when he's coming out the pictures? I don't remember it being hard or any element of luck.

yes, but theres like 8 different paintings, and 2 different ganons, only one of which was real. I had a way to tell which one was real, but i cant remember right now.

I actually thought Phantom Gannon was pretty simple. Now, Volvagia on the other hand...
It all makes sense

Oh dude the ****ING WATER TEMPLE. I never got passed that because it was so confusing. My sis got Oot and i played the beginning all the way to the beginning of the fire temple. She then took it to college with her . I also hated those shadowwall things in the forest temple where if you stand for to long they come and get you. It made me jump when i was killed by one of them .

the dragon in the fire temple? or am i wrong?

hardest boss had to have been in TP. i can't remember all of them, but i know the water one was a bitch, because you had to do pretty much the same thing you did in the OoT water temple, but you had iron boots on so if those water arms came to grab you, you couldn't get away.
oh, and the SKY temple is the HARDEST ****ING TEMPLE. i got lost so many damned times, and it takes so long to get back somewhere if you go the wrong way. and that stupid room where you had to hookshot all along the walls to get to another level or something? that ****ing killed me! and you can't go back the other way in it, so i spent like an hour trying to get back to the central room, until i realized that i'd have to find a different way back. the boss was really fun, though.

Getting the bottles is a big deal in the Zelda games. Since there such a pain in the ass to get.
