This thread was inspired by the nostalgic feeling brought up by the Recess thread. Does anyone remember watching a little show called Filmore? This show was my second favorite animated show growing up, only slightly behind Recess. I wish more episodes had been made though, I think I've seen all of them but I still enjoy it just as much. I don't think it was very popular, but a very good show. I wish my school had a safety patrol

Nocomment, you're right it was cheesy but the cheese was what made it great. I watched an episode today and when Ingrid Third found a clue and said "Crackers." I busted a gut for about a minute and a half.

For those of you who don't know what it is, it was an animated kids show from around 2000 I believe. It was about middle schooler Cornelius Filmore, who was a Safety Patroller (like a hall monitor) in X Middle School. Just imagine every bad cop show/movie you've ever seen, make it 15 minutes long and animate it. It has all the cheesy stereotypes, but put in a middle school setting. Instead of counterfeit money, it's baseball cards. It seems to draw heavily on the Lethal Weapon movies. There's one episode where a Canadian exchange student has "diplomatic immunity" while he's at their school. Very good show, and they never go to class.

I think I liked that show a little better than Recess because it had more mature references.
Probably why it wasn't as popular...

+1 O'Farrell was my favorite too. What was everyones favorite episode? Mine was the one with the graffitti guy and it was just like Silence Of The Lambs. I don't remember what his name was though. Such a funny show. I like watching it now better than I did when I was younger though, because I get all the more mature references.

I loved the episode with Cozy Putswell, and there was that whole side plot with Filmore's Jaded past as rebel mini golfer

I love the side plot of Fillmore having his jaded past as a delinquent! The whole bad guy turned good is hilarious.
