Well, between the big three (McLaughlin, di Meola, and Holdsworth) I was a huge holdsworth fan, but currently Id say my fave is di Meola. His alt. picking is insane!

I once saw somebody carry a Guitar Hero controller in a case to protect it. He probably should have packed his testicles in there too, seeing as he won't need to use those for quite a while.

Not really fusion, though.

Holdsworth and Scott Henderson are probably my favorites.

Guthrie Govan (when playing with The Fellowship). Otherwise, probably Greg Howe, Joel Hoekstra, Brett Garsed and Wayne Krantz.
He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt.
He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice.

Kind of off topic, but...

Best Di Meola album?
Known.
Some.
Call.
Is.
Air.
Am?

Incoherent - yes.
Without meaning - I'm afraid not.

"Known some call is air am."
Which is to say-

"I am not what I used to be"

Well, not really a "Di Meola album", but The Rite Of Strings. Not a big Di Meola fan on most other stuff.
He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt.
He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice.
