Someone told me Tung-sols and (6L6GC) JJ Regulars or JJ high gains. I am thinking against the high gains because I have EMGS which when I plug into the "High Gain" Input of my amp makes it sound gritty. So.. but I need new tubes quite soon. My pinch harmonics are slowly dying and fading on me. So New tubes are in order.. I was wondering what suggestions you guys have. And about the Tung-sols I dont know which kind to get.

Stick with the standard JJ 6L6s, I found the high-gain version to be not as clear. Excellent powertubes.

Did you mean Tung-sols for the preamp or throughout? The two different 12AX7s are the Gold and the standard versions. The Gold version is more hi-fi sounding, it's the same tube, just with better quality connections.
I tend to use the standard ones in all positions except the effects loop, where I put a Gold just to make sure my effects are as uncoloured as possible.

JJ's all round. Tungsol 12ax7's are pretty good tbh.

Ive just recieved the first part of my tube order. Got my JJ 12AX7's the other day. Just waiting on my 4 JJ 6L6GC's. Should sound pretty dark.

The preamp tubes have brought some bass response back and attack I have lost over the past 2 1/2 years. So the when the new power tubes go in there will be a drmatic difference. Cannot wait.

Just regular 12AX7s. The Golds I didn't even notice a sound difference in, they just cost more.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

It might be that your batteries in the EMG's are dying.

I put Tung sol 12AX7s and JJ standards other things.

Yeah I used EMGs and the high gain input on mine and it didn't sound gritty.
