Hey guys, I have a 4 track that I use to record. But now I've hit a bump. First, for some reason the latest tape had tons and tons of static, just noise. (Like when speakers are turned up too loud.) But my noise reduction was on.

Second, what is the easiest way to get the tape to a CD or to a computer? Thanks a bunch.

Route the tape outs to your computer's line in.

Sounds like a bad tape to me. That does happen. You might want to swing over to the local Radio Shack and get a cassette head cleaner, they like all of $8 or $9.

While you are at Radio Shack, get a cable that has dual RCA plugs (for the deck) down to a 1/8 mini stereo plug (for the line in on the PC). Those are also around $9.00.
