OK not sure if this has been done or not but i couldnt find a thread so lets discuss those magical moments in a solo or in a part of a song that just make you hold your breath

a few that get me are

Time - Pink Floyd
Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver (Harmony part)
Santana - Samba pa ti
Malmsteem - Vengeance
Is That Jazz? - Gil Scott Heron <---and this(youve probably all seen it)

it doesnt just have to be a guitar solo or any solo, just something that grabs you and hooks you(while sober or high/drunk/w/e)

so how about y'all?

Led Zeppelin's Achilles Last Stand..

Just the whole guitar orchestra, near the end, in the 5/4 sections, the guitars are crying and it's just beautiful.

And the extended guitar solo always makes me think of ship battling rough seas

Anyone a fan of The Black Dahlia Murder?

Funeral thirst has to be their best solo. Although it's not insanely hard or really fast, it goes great with the song.

I want to go as far to the edge without going over. Out on the edge, you can see all kinds of different things.
I'm broken - Pantera. I love that whole solo. I'm not normally a sucker for fast runs, but the one in I'm broken is just perfect.
