I have the peavey windsor head and it has 2 speaker outputs. The marshall cab i have only has 1 input. Ive had a cable going from one of my output jacks to the input on the cab, and everything works fine. What i'm wondering though is that when you only use 1 speaker jack from the head, does all 100 watts go through that 1 jack now, and when you use 2 speaker jacks is the wattage divided in half so half goes through one jack and half through the other?

What is the rating in Ohms of the 2 outputs on your amp and the input on your cab?

(Ohms symbol is an omega or in other words a little horseshoe)

Ok just make sure the amp is set to 8 and use a single speaker cable (not guitar cable) to connect it to the cab like you've been doing.

Yes you will get all 100 watts, the only reason there is 2 outputs is so you can run 2 cabs or a stereo cab.
