Hi,

I finished building my Strat over Christmas - I bought a ready-made Wilkinsons HSS strat scratchplate and pickups + all wiring etc.

The neck and middle pickups sound gorgeous, but the 'bucker is very quiet compared to the other 2. The only bit of soldering I did was to the jackplate and the trem claw (for grounding).

What can I do to raise the output from my humbucker?

Thanks a lot

Raise it maybe. The closer to the strings the pickup is, the higher the output. Also check the soldering connections.

adjust the pickup height. they should be pretty damn high. 2mm from the strings.

find a bar magnet and stick it on the bottom of the humbucker. Or you could raise it. or you could do both :/
