So I've recently started a band and I'm having trouble doing the vocals and playing the rhythm parts, it's just not coming easily, so any and all advice is much appreciated

hey danny.
firstly, rhythm guitar and vocals are almost the same thing.
rhythm guitar is meant to flow along with the vocals.
try strumming one chord.
now, sing ONE line.
when that line is finished,
swap chords.
then do the same.
this is pretty much what rythym guitar is meant to do,
and also to keep drums in place.

if that doesnt work,
get another rhythm guitarist or vocallist.
