Well the MTS obviously wins out on versatility.. I haven't has the chance to try one myself though, so I dunno, maybe it's only good for sounding like shit in many different styles..


If metal tone is all you're looking for though, the 6505 prety much has you sorted, 'tis a beast of an amp..

But you can have several different modules though on MTS, and some of the modules have great tone and good hi-gain distortion

Once again, I haven't tried it.. but I can see the MTS being good for everything, but excellent at nothing.

What sort of tones are you looking for, more specifically?
ie. What bands?
