I have an Epiphone les paul Black Beauty with three stock pickups and my birthday is coming up and im thinking of changing them to better ones.

My playing style is Blues-Classic Rock ( So Led Zeppelin etc )

Which brands of pickups would you recommend?

Thanx

If you have the money his silver series King tone pickups are the most vintage sounding PAF's I've ever heard. He says his Platinum series are even better and I trust that they are but I haven't actually played them 1st hand.

On the other hand, the pickups in the guitar you are getting are not that bad to begin with. Perhaps you would be better off investing in other gear rather than a pickup.
