I am stuck between to amps... The Marshall TSL60 head
http://www.allansmusic.com.au/Product.aspx?p=50418
and Marshall 1960AX cab http://www.allansmusic.com.au/Product.aspx?p=50435
or the ENGL Screamer 50 combo. https://www.billyhydemusic.com.au/shop/index.cfm?action=view&id=496

The head and cab together are about the same price as the ENGL so price is no problem. I need a good metal tone but also an alright clean, I more need a metal tone though so focusing on that more.

HELP!!! UG i no that you's won't let me down!!!?
BTW i play a Jackson sl3 solosit and roland cube 30 right now..

The TSl, I find, is a very muddy and nasty sounding amp... It'll get high gain but not very nicely.

The Screamer is a brilliant amp, and this is coming from a Classic Rocker. It's got really nice sparkly cleans and an absolutely fantastic distortion that is great for metal.

DEFINITELY get the ENGL. It's a league ahead of the TSL.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

Also, the ENGL takes pedals really well, so if you were to use the clean channel and stick an OD pedal like a Tubescreamer in front of it, you'll get great Bluesy-Classic Rock OD as well as the brilliant metal OD and fendery cleans.

ENGL it is then, i've got a MI audio tube zone to run through it, i think i look into a Tube screamer as well so it shall be good.
