ok its my little sisters birthday soon and she has recently taken up guitar cos ive been playin for almost 2 years i am teahin her the basics and she likes to make 'cool sounds' from my valvtronix amp, and she has my old fender frontman so really i want to buy her a fun pedal which will also be good to use when she pogreses, maybea tremelo or something, she likes all of the sounds except extreme distorted ones, and i was also looking at the Danelectro pedals bcos of the funni food names the have, so any ideas are good, i have amulti effects but i want to get her a stompbox so it int to confusin. cheers

Yeah, a tremolo could be pretty fun, especially a pan/tremolo
Also check out phasers and flangers, she could love/hate the sound of those
I'd say Digitech Whammy, but that might cost up quite a bit, especially if she's not using it seriously for now.

Yea get her one of those danelectro pedals that are named after food they aren't the best but they're cheap and fun. Something like a tremolo would be good.

Buy a multi effects... Maybe a POD or tonelab. I reckon thats where she'll get the best out of it.

i said i have a multi effects and onli wanna get he a single effect so if she dontlike it after a while we can keep it maybe in my rig, but i like the idea of tremelo or auto-wah

You can have alot of fun with a Crybaby 535Q, feedback, and a coin. I can only imagine how great it would be with a killswitch as well, or a guitar with 2 volumes.

D= Well that's selfish. Seriously though, if she likes tweaing the effects in your amp, just ask her what her favourite one is. Because I could see her getting bored of a simple autowah unless she see's something interesting to do with it. Why not get her like a MicroCube or something?
#14
yeah those danelectro are cheap and fun and she hasnt been playing long enough to understand the importance of tone so she wnt care if they aint great its justto keep hr happy cos she is bored of the clean tone and doesnt like distotion or OD

it aint selfish its just i dont wana spend alot on a multi when she might not want it and i cnt put it to use i want something that is just one effect that is nice and cheap and if she does get bored it can still be put to use at home

Digitech RP50, they're cheaper than most pedals anyway.

[Edit] here, don't be so tight, this costs the same as the Danelectro pedals and will be much more fun, be nice to your sister!

Who are these pedals for? just get her what she wants.

I too think an RP50 would be good though/

Flanger, Phaser, Wah, Rotovibe, Pan-Trem, Choralflange

Actually, ignore the last one -- that is on my wish list.
#24
i say go for the pocket pod. Its compact, simple, and not incredibly expensive.
