hey all, i was wondering, fitting a floyd nut to to a neck that has a standard nut, hard? costly? Any links or advice would be great, thanks,
Does any1 have any ideas, at all??
You'll have to remove all the wood leading up to the front edge of the nut slot (on a strat-style where the nut is in a slot in the fretboard) then drill holes through the neck for the screws that hold on the FR nut. If you have the right tools, it's pretty easy.

Do you have any links to tutorials or something? Cheers
No, sorry. It's pretty much a staight-forward process. I'll draw a pictoral tutorial and post it...
Thanks man, your like my messiah!! =]
It's not that hard, but it's pretty pointless unless you have a bridge with fine tuners - are you installing a Floyd too?
