So i have the chance to buy this amp, but i've never played it. (stupid, i know)
But what are you guys' thoughts on this amp?

No, just no. Stay FAR away from Line 6 Spiders, especially the stack versions.

if you can get a 4x12 for 100 then go for it.... no doubt... i like line 6. Even if you dont like the sound come up with a very clean tone and run an external processor

Are you buying just the cab or the whole stack, head and cab?

I mean, really for $100 it's a good deal, you'd at least be able to resell it for that much, but the tone from them suck so bad that you won't be satisfied with it in the long run and would rather have spent your money on something a little more worth while, even it was more expensive.

I guess i'll run by grandmas and play a line 6 and see if i like it.

EDIT: Just the cab, i got a dude at the pawn shop i know with two (2) line 6 heads for cheap.

I guess the used market is getting saturated with spider amps. Theres a reason they are really cheap.
