hey guys, my band recently recorded with mic's that cost a LOT of money and all of a sudden they wanna use some sort of connection so we dont have to mic up the amps, just go from amp ( magic box) to the computer.

I've read up on the pod series but i really dont need all those effects and presets and stuff

help im so new to recording!!!

Well the cheapest way would probably be something like a GuitarPort, but it won't sound half as good plugging directly into it as it would micing your amp...

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
