HELLO,

so im buying a new guitar currently i own a dean daytona wich thought(pastform off teach?) me the basics but now im trying to orientate to get the type off guitar that gives me the sound i want wich is jazz, r&b-ish.
what brands should i focus on what price range acoustic or semi-acoustic?

Taught. However, a guitar can't "teach" you anything. You can use it as a tool in learning, but it's not a "teacher."

Have you looked at an all-acoustic archtop? They're a real treat to play, and lend an authentic blues sound.

Edit: just to add; look into the Harmony H954 Broadway. That is one fantastic guitar. Of course, there is no beating the Gibson L7-C. The Gretsch G100 Synchromatic is . . . a good archtop for those on a budget. It's well-made, it's sturdy, but it's nothing special, in my opinion.

Do you mean electro acoustic or semi? They are very different things.

As for the new guitar, what sort of price are you wanting to pay? Do you prefer fingerstyle, strumming or flatpicking?

ah yes sorry i ment electro-acoustic and i prefer fingerstyle and strumming pricerange would be around 600euro could be more could be less i have no idea at what price guitars tend to be proper.
