im remembering brass as well, so how about we just go with that for now

i personally prefer glass slides, but that one sounds like a metal slide. so grab a knife and start messing around!

i would assume that when i say, "grab a knife and start messing around," that people will realize that i mean you can use a butter knife as a cheap metal slide...
